As aventuras de Ironbeard

Para quem não sabe o Ironbeard é uma personagem fictícia com sotaque escocês inventada para fazer os reclames ao Monster Hunter Tri. Eu pessoalmente acho os reclames feitos por ele originais e divertidos por isso decidi partilha-los com o resto da comunidade. Em baixo estão os vídeos por ordem e os comentários dos respectivos.

Episódio 1 – Crabs

Comentário: What, am I at some fancy-pants restaraunt? Or a dockside dive, fer that matter? I use crabs as coasters, not as prey!

If ya want some real huntin' ya wonna find it in a tub. Ya'll find it in Monster Hunter Tri!

Episódio 2 – Foxes

Comentário: Ya know, 'tis easy t' call yerself a hunter when yer chasin down a wee animal who can barely reach high enough t' bite yer knee. But that doesn't mean a ARE one, ya minces!

No, a real hunters go after mighty prey, and do so together, with their mates, in Monster Hunter Tri!

Episódio 3 – College

Comentário: Ah, college! T'ain't nothin' better the smell of leather-bound books, the shouts and laughter in the intramural bowgun competitions, the "RA RA RA"s as the Lagis beat the.....wait a minute, this isn't Monster Hunter Tri University!!!

Ah, well, I'm already here, so I might as well teach these wee lads and lasses some things they ain't gunna learn in school. I even have me visual aid handy.

Episódio 4 – Tar Pit

Comentário: Ya know, they wouldna let me in t' the tar pits. Too many large beasties, it was excitin' me senses! I just had t' start swingin' me sword! Broke a *few* too many historical artifacts.

But still, none of the creatures in there were anything close t' the size of the Lagicrus in me truck, or fer any of the other massive beasties in Monster Hunter Tri. That's why I need t' show these folks what a true hunt is!

Episódio 5 – Mammoth

Comentário: Ya know, I can understand why the wee museum would try t' upsell their creatures. After all, how else are they gunna attract their audiences. But come *on*, lads and lassies! That "great mammoth" is nothin' more than an oversized plush toy!

Fer an actual beastie, ya need look no further than Monster Hunter Tri, where ya'll find all forms of massive beasties that wouldna even *fit* in one of the museum wings. Now I'd pay admission t' *that*!

Episódio 6 – Drive Thru

Comentário: Truth be told, it dunna take much t' keep me happy. Just put a roof above me head, some food in me belly, and a beastie's skull 'neath me blade. Who'da thunk it'd be the food that gave me the most trouble! Pah!

Luckily, ya willna need t' worry about any princy pancake-flippers when yer playin' Monster Hunter Tri. Not only can ya cook yer *own* meat, ya can spend the rest of yer time doin' *real* things, like huntin' monsters, either in 4-player online or 2-player splitscreen! No grill needed!

Episódio 7 – Zebras

Comentário: I dunna know about all these nature shows, showin' the wee lion as a prime predator? Callin' it a "terrifyin' king of the jungle"? Fer *what*, huntin' down a horse-shaped barcode? That's hardly what I'd call a terrifyin' beastie.

Ya see, in the world of Monster Hunter Tri, when a beastie is called the "king" of somethin', it really *means* it. The kings ya'll face can fly through the sky, breathe fire, and smack ya off a tall cliff. And even then, a monster hunter *always* gets back up t' face 'em again!

Episódio 8 – Mini Mall

Comentário: And now me truck and I've reached the end of our journey, and we landed at....a mini mall? Well, better *that* than a Barroth's belly. But with all these manks around me, I'd better put me best face forward.

Of course, that's easy t' do when yer talkin' about Monster Hunter Tri. After all, it's the most accessible of all the Monster Hunter games. Why, any of these SUV-drivin' folks only need t' pick up a controller, and they're on their way t' bein' a full fledg'd hunter!

Por acaso também já tinha visto dois ou três porque lembrei-me de ir ver o site official do jogo e tem lá essa figura sentada numa poltrona ao pé da fogueirinha a dormir.

Achei piada, quando um gaijo está distraido a ver os conteúdos do site esse senhor está a dormir, de repente o gaijo acorda e começa aos berros, eu até me assustei pah!

Ideia original por acaso! Vou ver os videos que ainda não vi, principalmente o behind the scenes.
